 From Charles de Gaulle Airport |
Navette (Coach)- 2 destinations possible - Opera or Port Maillot-Etoile (for this latter one you get off at Etoile), then get a taxi (about a 10 minute ride to theapartment. If you get the "Etoile Coach you will go down the "Champs Elysées" on your arrival and will also get to see the river Seine.
RER (train)- Coose a "direct line" to "CHATELET", on arrival there we suggest a taxi even though you are about only a 10 minutes walk from the apartment -but that can feel or be a lot longer with luggage!
Taxi - far the easiest and if there are four in your party not enormously dearer than getting the Coach - ask the driver for an idea of the price - they're pretty honest we think.
Shared Minibus/taxi - We've never used this option but understand it works pretty well. You book in advance for arrival and/or departure, normally by internet - click on the airport internet link below for more information on this and the other travel options. | |
| Eurotunnel arrivals | You will arrive at the "Gare du Nord" which is 3 km to the north of the apartment.
A taxi is much the easiest solution, but you can also take the metro (tube/underground) direct to "Les Halles" which is a 2 minute walk from the apartment.
Either before or on your arrival get a map of Paris - it will be invaluable to you!! | |
